Radio Moscow

from Catastrophe by Heroes of Popular Science

lyrics

The unseen hand, and we all fear.
We don’t understand the sun.
Why fight the warmth of the light we feel?

His head hurts, the networks, his heart beats fast, alone.
So much noise from the phones and receivers
he needs some help and he needs some believers.
And don’t we all?

You can’t escape the singing lady of Peru
and Radio Moscow is always there for you.
What can you do?

Trees appear from thin air.
The fire you burn was there long before you arrived in the woods, before you left your electrical goods and troubles at home.

You try to let the breath of life flow through you.
It’s easy to ignore how the forests grew.
